Having tried various booster seats over the years, this Audi booster seat truly stands out. What caught our attention first was how much nicer this looked than most child booster seats, but the practical details ended up mattering more. Our eight year old can buckle himself without needing a parent to reach across the back seat, which makes quick stops much easier. The seat weighs far less than the bulky car seat it replaced, so taking it out when an adult needs the rear seat is not a big project. Despite being fairly easy to handle, it does not feel flimsy or cheap. Knowing that the booster was crash tested also gave us more confidence when choosing it. It is definitely pricier than a basic department store option, but the materials and sleek appearance make the difference noticeable!

A recent six hour family drive was the real test for this booster, and our daughter did much better than expected. She usually starts complaining about her legs and back after a couple of hours, but there was a lot less squirming this time. The padding has a nice amount of give, while the armrests let her settle into a comfortable position for reading and watching movies. Installation was pretty straightforward and the metal connectors make the seat feel firmly anchored once everything is in place. By the end of the trip, a quick wipe was basically all it needed to look clean again!
Would have liked a more subtle color choices, but the fit is nice. After a month use, we have no complains.
