What sold us on this BMW X5 booster was actually the combination of safety features and a design that did not look like preschool gear. Our daughter is nine and very particular about anything that feels too childish, so she immediately liked the simple appearance. From a parent standpoint, knowing the seat has been crash tested to FMVSS standards was an important part of the decision. The ISOFIX connection feels secure in our BMW, and the booster does not shift around on the leather when she gets in and out. She has also become much more independent about buckling herself because the height puts the belt in a comfortable position. After several weeks of daily use, the foam still feels firm and the surface has been extremely easy to clean. This feels like something she can comfortably keep using as she grows rather than a seat we will replace again next year:)

With three kids, anything that makes the morning routine easier gets our attention. This booster seat went into the X5 quickly, and our six year old was comfortable with it from the first ride. There is enough room around the buckle that getting him strapped in does not turn into the usual wrestling match before school. He tends to climb into the car with dirty shoes, crackers, and whatever else he collected that day, so the wipeable surface has already earned its keep. The booster feels sturdy, but at nine pounds it is still manageable when we need the full back seat for adults. It is one of those kid products that works well for the child without making the car feel taken over by kid stuff. Totally recommended!

Fits perfectly in our BMW X5
We bought the Snug Bug right before a family trip that involved about six hours in the car, so it got a serious test immediately. Our eight year old normally starts getting restless after a couple of hours, but this time there were no complaints about the seat being hard or uncomfortable. The padding feels substantial without making the booster bulky, and the armrests give him a comfortable place to settle in. Getting this booster seat installed in our X5 was straightforward, and the connectors gave us much more confidence than a booster that simply rests on the seat. It is also light enough to remove when grandparents ride with us, which happens pretty often. The material still looked clean after plenty of snacks, juice, and one melted piece of chocolate. Totally recommended!
