No, you can only attach the headrest and backrest straps. If you don’t have any place to secure the bottom straps, these two attachments are enough.

I was worried that since I drive a Chevy Sonic hatchback, this might take up too much room, but I adjusted the straps so it sits snugly against the seat back. That way, the passenger's knees don’t bump into it. It was really easy to set up, and the buckles are well-placed so you can even tuck the bottom buckle between the seat cushions to keep it out of the way.
