Does the Toyota Sienna Have a Third Row? Seating Guide

The Sienna is a three-row minivan, with a front row, a second row, and a third row behind them. Depending on the model and seating configuration, a 2021–2025 Sienna seats seven or eight people, so count the actual seats and seat belts in the vehicle you’re considering rather than assuming every Sienna has the same layout.

Yes, you can use the third row for passengers when you need more seating, then fold it down when you need more room for luggage, sports gear, or other cargo. Before a trip, decide which seats you’ll need in use and make sure everyone has an appropriate seating position and seat belt; cargo should not take up a passenger’s space or interfere with seat operation.

Our Toyota Sienna Seat Covers (2021–2025) are a black, premium eco-leather back-seat option, but “back seat” alone does not tell you which seating positions a particular cover set includes. If you want to cover the third row, identify your Sienna’s model year and seating configuration, then confirm that the pieces you choose are intended for that row and allow its seat belts and folding functions to work as designed.

When you need all three rows for passengers, consider how much space remains behind the third row for what you normally carry. Our team also recommends testing the seating arrangement before a long drive: have passengers enter and exit the third row, adjust the second row as needed, and make sure any seat covers stay properly positioned through those movements.
