Didn't expect the folding design to matter much, but it turns out to be really handy. This dog seat cover folds flat, and the carry handles make it easier to move into the garage between uses. Putting it back takes a little adjusting, especially when someone has moved the front seats, but that's okay. Our beagle sheds constantly and being able to vacuum the cover before storing it keeps that hair from spreading around as much. The material also wipes clean after damp paws or a little drool. Happy to have something that works for the dog and is so well made!
Being able to remove the bottom panels for a deeper wash is a thoughtful detail. Taking everything reinstalled takes time, but it's useful.

A three hour drive to visit family was the reason we finally replaced our old cheap hammock with this new Ford seat cover. The door panels were what caught my attention, and they're the part that gets appreciated most on busy mornings. Our terrier rides along for daycare dropoffs, errands, and the occasional coffee run. Opening the door without having to unzip a panel every single time saves some fiddling when there's a leash in one hand and a bag in the other. The extra fabric around the seat edges is useful because he never climbs in gracefully. One pocket holds his leash, and the other has wipes and spare poop bags. The pattern of the dog seat cover looks pretty nice in the Maverick, too, without making the back seat look like a pile of camping gear.
