Get your diffuser ready
Our white Aura Glide is a portable, waterless aroma diffuser that uses a pod and essential oil, so you do not need to fill a water tank. Before using it, set it on a stable surface and make sure the pod and any removable parts are seated securely.
If you are using it in a car, place it where it will not roll, block your view, or interfere with driving controls. Keep essential oil off upholstery and finished surfaces, and wipe up any drops before you start the diffuser.

Add oil and start it
Open the pod, add essential oil without overfilling it, and close it securely; if your pod has a fill mark or insert, follow the markings on that part. Then use the diffuser’s power control to turn it on, starting with a small amount of oil so you can judge the scent before adding more.
Unlike a water-based diffuser, Aura Glide does not need a water-and-oil mixture, so do not pour water into its pod. For more product-specific guidance, visit our Aura Glide diffuser guide.

Check it and care for it
You can tell whether the diffuser is doing its job by checking that it is on and noticing whether the scent gradually becomes detectable nearby; a waterless diffuser will not produce the same visible mist you might expect from a water-based model. If you do not notice a scent, confirm that the pod contains oil, is closed properly, and is fitted securely before trying again.
Turn the diffuser off before handling the pod, and keep the outside clean with a soft, dry cloth. If you change scents, clean or replace the pod as directed for your diffuser so old oil does not affect the next fragrance.

FAQ
How do I know if my aroma diffuser is working?
Make sure it is turned on and that you can notice the fragrance nearby after it has had time to disperse. Do not rely on visible mist as your test for a waterless diffuser; if there is no scent, check the oil level and pod placement.
