Grandma drives the kids a couple days a week, so we wanted a booster that would be simple for everyone to deal with and would not need constant adjusting. This one has been much easier than the previous seat because once it is connected, it stays where it belongs. It's also super easy to move between cars. There is no chasing the booster across the leather seat while a kid is trying to climb in, which sounds minor until you deal with it every morning. The cushion feels substantial and our seven year old immediately commented that it was softer than his old one. We also liked seeing that the booster had been crash tested to the applicable US child transportation standard rather than choosing solely based on appearance. The smooth surface has already survived a spilled juice box with nothing more than a quick wipe afterward. It costs more than the fabric boosters on Amazon, but the materials, stability, and convenience make the difference easy to understand once you receive it.

We ordered this for a Lexus RX350 before a family road trip because our eight year old had started complaining about being uncomfortable in his old booster after an hour or two. He made it through several long driving days with far fewer complaints, and the wider cushioned seat seemed to make a noticeable difference. The backless shape also gives him a little more freedom to get settled without making the rear seat feel crowded. Installation took only a few minutes and the connectors hold the booster firmly against the seat. Another nice detail is that it does not look out of place next to the leather upholstery in the Lexus, which cannot be said for most kids gear. Totally recommended!
