Honestly, spending this much on a dog cover took some convincing lol. But something that could be put away between dog outings made sense for me. This dog seat cover folds flat and goes in the cargo area when friends need the rear seats. The handles are handy because carrying a folded cover along with a dog bag can get awkward. Visually, the geometric pattern and trim look at home in the interior, which was a pleasant surprise. It does take up some storage space, so factor that in if your trunk is usually full. For a household constantly switching between passengers and a furry copilot, the convenience makes the price easier to justify. Thanks!

The mesh window was what caught our attention since our rescue dog likes to keep tabs on whoever is up front. She can see through it while lying down instead of popping up every time someone speaks. On a recent drive to visit family, she spent most of the trip watching us and then dozing off. The pockets were useful for keeping her leash and cleanup bags together at rest stops. We also use a separate travel harness, so having access to the seat belt connections mattered. There was still the usual whining when we pulled into a parking lot, because apparently every stop should involve snacks. For longer outings, this makes the back seat a much more practical space for her.

Apparently every puddle at the dog park needs to be personally inspected by our spaniel. Keeping towels in the car helped a little, but they always shifted and left the seat edges exposed. The extra coverage on this one is a big deal when she climbs back into the Macan with filthy paws. Having the side panels attached to the doors also means there’s no zipper to wrestle with while holding a leash. Back at home, a damp cloth takes care of the muddy marks, and the loose fur gets vacuumed up separately. Cleanup still takes some effort after a particularly messy outing, but it’s a manageable job now. This has earned its place in the car.
Love it!! The hard bottom and waterproof material are amazing features. Being able to lift this out and shake off the grit after a morning by the ocean saves a lot of time
