We needed a travel solution for our two 20 lb. dogs on a 14-hour car trip. They love the car but needed to be restrained as they prefer to sit in the front seat with us. This seems like a great solution. So far, we have taken them on trial drives, and they seem to do fine. We padded the inside with a cushioned dog bed big enough to reach end to end.
We travel a lot with a small Yorkie that is generally all over the car! It's frustrating when you are in the car for 13+ hours. We wanted him to have something that he could still move in but contain him in the back seat. We tried many other backseat hammocks and travel carriers, but this works perfectly for us!! We have used it in the backseat of our Toyota and our Nissan Titan; it fits no matter what. We put a small bath rug in the bottom to make it more comfortable, threw his bed and toys in there, and now he's ready to travel wherever we go!! We love it!
Our dog hates to travel in the car, especially in a carrier. We bought this hoping she would be more comfortable traveling in it. I wouldn't say she loves it, but she definitely hates it less. It secures easily to the bolsters or the child car seat restraints in our 2014 VW Golf. It fits so well, it is like it was made for the backseat of the car. We unfortunately have already had the opportunity to test how easy it can be cleaned. No issues, but we haven't had to deal with urine yet, so we can't vouch for how well it handles liquids or how easy they are to clean up.
I love this portable dog cage so far. Hasn't been wet yet. I put moisture pads under it. It works and fits perfectly. I have a little dog; she is about a foot tall. She and her friends fit perfectly with 12" of headspace. I have the holding straps looped around the headrest. Collects a lot of dirt from the dog. I bought it to keep my new truck clean. Works great. The zipper works like a zipper should.
The travel tube is great! With plenty of room and comfort. The only thing that was added was clasps on the zippers to keep from easy opening of the tube on both sides.
I used this dog car crate to transport two 16-pound cats on a 13-hour drive to our new home. There was plenty of room for both cats to have space to stand or lay down, and there was extra room for a cat box at one end. I installed it on the back seat of my Lexus RX 350. The seat belt secured the tube. It fit the length of the back seat perfectly. The net windows allowed me to check in on them. I think it was calming to the cats to be able to see out of the tube. I believe the netting was strong enough to handle cats with claws. It would take a long time and a lot of extreme clawing to tear the material or netting. My cats didn’t claw at the material.
Well worth the price. Easy to set up and insert the cats, litter box, food, and water. The cats kept quiet, making it an easy drive, at least as easy as a 10-hour drive in the rain can be.
We used this to transport two of our cats over 600 miles to our new house. The cats were somewhat upset when we first put them in, but once we got on the road they settled down. We put a litter box, water, and some food in there for the 10-hour trip. The cats were mostly quiet for the trip with an occasional complaint. The two cats are best buds and keeping the two cats together helped keep them calm. Once we got to the new house, it was easy for two of us to carry the kennel inside to release the cats.
Installed in Toyota RAV4 across the back seats. Perfect fit, keeps the 2 small dogs, 20 lbs each, safely contained. Bonus for us is it helps to contain loose hair from our dogs shedding (not perfect but way better than anything we tried before). Easy to install and remove on the rare occasions we need to use the extra seating. Zippers and attaching hardware are holding up well.
Get this if you’re traveling with cats!! We moved across the country and put 2 cats in this in the backseat for 12 hours. They were happy and comfortable, and it was great! It fits a travel litter box and food and water plus 2 pet beds. Definitely get this!
We had to move to a different state and wanted our two cats to be comfortable. It was a 13-hour drive, and we were able to fit a small litter box, food, and water in there, and they still had plenty of room to stand, walk, curl up together, and beg to be let out. Our boys didn't try to destroy it, so I'm not sure how durable it is to an especially angry cat. It fit perfectly in the backseat of our car; when not used for traveling, we just have it open for them to play in.
This soft sided dog cage is large, which is great for pets while traveling, or you can set it up as a play tunnel in the house. I would recommend putting your pet in it after you set it up in the car if used for travel. The material is good quality, and the finish is well done, but it’s not a rigid product, so it won’t carry weight. It works as advertised.
It installs easily, fits any car's back seat. I have even used it in the back hatch area of my Crosstrek when I needed the back seat for grandchildren. I highly recommend it if you have more than one small to medium-sized dog.
I have four chihuahuas that travel well but all want to sit in my lap when I drive. I tried other travel products that did not work. The pet travel tube worked so well it was miraculous! It stretches from side to side and ties to the seat for stability. I threw in a couple of stinky blankets, and they were right at home with no whining. Lifesaver and worth the money. My cats were fairly happy with this in the car for 14 hours. They did better than they would normally do in their individual crates. Had room for a litter box and put food and water in there as well. With the Feliway pheromone spray, they slept the whole time!
My chihuahua hates riding in the car unless he is in my lap. I have 2 dogs (the other is a jack russell). We have a 2-hour drive to camp every weekend. We used to put each dog in their own crate with a bed for the drive. I decided to try this to see if my chihuahua would have less anxiety if he was with his sister. It worked perfectly. Both dogs settled down right away. The chihuahua no longer hides when he knows we are going for a ride.
Definitely convenient and easy to clean. I feel much better knowing that my fur baby will be more comfortable in the car, but still safer in the event of an accident than he would be freely sitting.
