Just switched from a plastic one with a top cover, I have 3 cats with one being a BIG boy and he wasn’t comfortable in the old one. The old one also was super hard to get everything out unless you’re switching the litter. With this one, I LOVE IT! The clumped litter in this stainless steal makes it super easy to clean out, keeps odor to a minimum, we keep our litter box in the bathroom in a little cubby and this entire box fits perfectly, and last but not least, my big boy is much more comfortable in this box. I was scared the top, plastic lid wasn’t going to keep urine out since the box is kind of short in height, but it has been working JUST fine. Love, love this box.
This is the best litter box I’ve ever purchased. Doesn’t hold onto smells or bacteria since it’s stainless steel. Super easy to clean and my cats love it. If you have plastic litter boxes please throw them away. You’re supposed to discard plastic litter boxes after a year due to how badly they harbor bacteria regardless of cleaning them. With stainless steel it will last a lifetime and is healthy for your kitties. The lid is tough to get on but make sure you push down as hard as you can and it will snap into place.
After experiencing issues with plastic litter boxes absorbing odors over time, we sought an alternative and landed on this stainless steel option. Three months in, we're thoroughly pleased. The box is robust and effortless to clean, with a particularly effective scoop for removing waste without disturbing the litter.
Very well made- will last forever. Larger than I expected- bought with full size cat in mind, but the cat will love it for every of use, nice rounded edges of plastic top are safe for cats. Nothing sharp against them. Also has great turn around space for cats. Bottom stainless steel pan is highly polished with nice square corners to make scooping easy.
With multiple cats I find these stainless litter boxes much easier to clean and maintain.
