Taking our schnauzer to the groomer involves an impressive amount of excitement for a fifteen minute drive. Didn’t realize how much our older Lab disliked his old sagging hammock until we replaced it. He used to spend the first part of every ride shifting around and trying to get comfortable. This one is unmatched! The firm bottom gives him an even place to lie down in the Subaru. He can stretch out without the fabric pulling into a pocket beneath him. We use his separate travel harness through the belt openings and take our usual breaks on longer drives. Getting the straps arranged took some patience, so we handled that before bringing him outside. On our last visit to family, he settled in before we’d even left the neighborhood. Thanks for a great product!
The removable hard bottom is a very great feature for added stability. Taking it apart and putting it back together after a wash is a bit of a chore tho, but having that option matters.
