What sold us on this one was the combination of a cleaner design and an actual connection to the vehicle seat. A previous backless booster basically sat loose on the rear seat which was annoying every time our daughter climbed in or someone moved it while cleaning the car.This one stays anchored and feels much more put together inside our Volvo. She says the cushion is softer than her old seat, and the seating position works well for the regular seat belt. The material has held up well to muddy soccer clothes, juice drops, and the usual collection of crumbs after practice. It costs more than a basic booster, but the secure fit, easier cleanup, and nicer finish make the difference pretty noticeable.
Bought this mainly for weekend trips because our eight year old was getting uncomfortable in his old booster after an hour or two. We recently did a road trip that was a little over four hours, and there were noticeably fewer complaints from the back seat. The padding feels substantial without making the seat overly tall or bulky, and the armrests give him a comfortable place to settle his arms. Installation was straightforward, and once the connectors were attached there was very little movement when getting in and out. At nine pounds it is still manageable when the booster needs to come out for an adult passenger. The eco leather has also been surprisingly practical because sand and snack messes wipe off instead of getting worked into fabric. For families who spend a lot of time in the car, the extra comfort is worth having:)

Two kids and morning school drop off can get chaotic fast, so anything that makes the car routine easier gets points in our house. Our son can get into this booster and buckle up without fighting with a bulky seat around him. The cushion has enough give that he has stopped complaining about being uncomfortable during the forty minute drive to his grandparents. Another thing we appreciate is that the seat does not shift across the leather when he gets in from the side. Crumbs collect around the kids no matter what, but the smooth material is much easier to wipe down than fabric. The simple black design also fits the Volvo cabin nicely!
