What sold us was being able to open the doors and let our dogs out of the car without rearranging the hammock every time. Also the belt openings - they let us use her existing seatbelt, while the rigid bottom surface gives her stability when she stands to change positions. She can watch us through the mesh section instead of constantly trying to peer over the front. That setup makes getting out the door less chaotic and we love the overall quality!

Lake days with a Newfoundland are basically a test of how much water your car can survive... Keeping him out of the pond isn't happening, so protecting the Volvo seemed like the more realistic option. But this seat cover was our lifesaver. The waterproof material catches the moisture from his coat, and the firm platform gives his big frame somewhere comfortable to rest. There's enough coverage along the sides to handle the inevitable shake before we even leave the parking lot. Once home, we wipe everything down and leave it out to dry before the next outing. There's still a wet dog smell to deal with, but at least the seats aren't soaking it up.
