Check What Your Diffuser Is Designed to Release
Some diffusers create a visible mist from water, while others disperse fragrance without a water reservoir, so a lack of visible mist does not always mean your new diffuser is broken. Our White “Aura Glide” is a waterless portable aroma diffuser with a pod and essential oil; if you are unsure how to use yours, start with our Aura Glide guide rather than assuming it needs water.
If you are using a different diffuser, follow the instructions for that model and look for any distinction between visible mist and fragrance release. Avoid adding water or oil to a compartment unless the manufacturer says it is intended for that material.

Inspect the Outlet and Internal Parts
A blocked outlet or incorrectly fitted cover can interfere with operation, so turn the diffuser off and inspect accessible openings for packaging, dust, or other obstructions. Keep the outlet clear and follow the manufacturer’s cleaning directions instead of inserting sharp objects or using cleaners that could damage the device.
If your model uses a water reservoir, use only the amount and type of water specified in its instructions, since both an empty reservoir and an overfilled one can prevent normal operation. If the setup and power checks do not resolve the problem, stop repeated troubleshooting and contact our team for help with your Owleys product.

FAQ
Why is my diffuser not making mist?
The cause may be a power issue, an incorrectly installed part, or an obstruction at the outlet. Some waterless diffusers may not produce the visible water mist you expect, so use the instructions for your particular model to determine what normal operation looks like.
