Living next to a national seashore with beach driving access is a blessing! This 64” cargo hitch is ideal for transporting firewood for our bonfire, beach chairs, and a large cooler—keeping all that sand out of my new SUV. It’s sturdier than I anticipated. Assembly took about 15 minutes, and the trailer hitch clamp provides excellent stability. The cargo net will definitely be useful. The two ratchet sets look a bit tricky, so I’ll see if I need to swap them out later.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this roof basket, but it would be nice if it came with some kind of padding or liner to protect the cargo from scratches.
