The base was the deciding factor for us because our greyhound takes up a ridiculous amount of space when she lies down. A regular hammock sagged in the middle and left her trying to arrange those long legs around it. This gives her a firm platform where she can stretch out naturally. When she stands to turn around, the surface doesn't gather into folds beneath her paws. We adjusted the straps with the front seats in their usual positions and checked the setup before leaving. The belt openings let us connect her travel restraint without disturbing everything. On our last visit to family, she slept through most of the highway portion. Totally recommended!

The handles make carrying it into the house straightforward. Putting it back still takes a little arranging, especially after someone has moved the front seats. The pattern and brown accents look thoughtfully finished when it's installed and the fit is seamless. We keep a small vacuum nearby for a quick pass before putting it away. Happy with something that accommodates our dogs and makes switching back to passengers manageable.
