Two kids and a busy activity schedule means our Model Y basically lives between school, soccer practice, grocery runs, and weekend outings. Our youngest uses this booster, and the first thing we noticed was how much more stable it felt compared with the one we had before. He has a habit of practically jumping into the car, but this booster seat does not scoot sideways underneath him. The padding has held up nicely too, and he actually fell asleep comfortably during a recent two hour drive home. From a parent perspective, the wipeable material might be my favorite part because fabric boosters always seemed to collect crumbs and mystery stains lol... It also does not have that bulky appearance that can make a nice Tesla interior feel messy. Totally recommend this booster seat to the Tesla Y owners!

Our daughter is eight and was getting very particular about anything that looked too much like a little kid car seat. This one passed her test because it is pretty, soft, and does not make the back of our Model Y look ugly. She can get herself situated and buckle up without needing help every single morning, which makes school drop off much easier. The armrests are one of those small details we did not think much about until she started using them constantly on longer rides. There have already been cookie crumbs, muddy clothes, and one melted piece of chocolate involved, and cleanup has been surprisingly painless.
