I had to come back and review this product after it saved my car seats. We got our dog neutered, and the meds gave him a very upset stomach. Halfway through our drive home, there was a very, very liquid accident in the backseat. Luckily, I had put up this seat cover. Not a single drop got on my car seat, door, floor, or anywhere. The mess hosed right off and the cover held up well in the washer (we air-dried it, so I can’t speak for the dryer). Besides that, the cover is extremely easy to install and remove, and holds up well with all five dogs.
I bought this for a 1,000 mile road trip to visit my folks across the country, and it blew me away! My pup just curled up and slept the whole way. She was comfortable in my back seat, it was easy to set up, and fits great in my Nissan Versa. The leash buckle really seals the deal, keeping the dog at a safe distance, so I could focus on the road without needing a kennel in my back seat. Ten out of ten recommend!
I have a Subaru Outback and a dog that hates car rides. We got this and initially my husband didn’t attach it to the front seats, so she tried to stand on the middle front armrest (she’s a 75 lb hound mix). Once he attached everything properly, she calmed down and just laid in the backseat without excessive panting and drooling. This actually calmed her down and protected our seats from all her hair!
The Warning: Vomit!!! I never write reviews but here we are - my golden retriever puppy went to the beach and drank too much sea water. On the car ride home, I noticed he looked funny in the rearview mirror. Sure enough, he threw up all over the back seat. Thanks to this cover, only a little got on my car near the seatbelt buckle. I just got my car less than a year ago, so this cover was a lifesaver, making cleanup much easier than having to clean my entire car.

This pet seat cover is perfect to protect the seats from scratches or accidents, and the included tether keeps him safely in place, ensuring both his and my husband’s safety while driving. It is incredibly easy to install when the dog is in the car, just snaps in, and is just as easy to remove. This was a fantastic investment, and we love it!
Used this product in my 2020 Civic on a short drive to a nearby park to protect my car seats from my husky’s shedding and dirty paws after the walk. I got this so that my dog could hang out in the back of my car during a long road trip. I didn’t want to cage her, but I got a new car and wanted to protect the interior from her claws (she likes to jump and look out the window). It comfortably limited her access and was super easy to install. Unfortunately, she had an accident during the trip due to slight anxiety, but this dog seat cover is definitely waterproof. Awesome quality for the price and it fits in my coupe too! My dog can comfortably walk around and lay down on it. Overall a great purchase, and I will keep it in my trunk for reuse for years.
This Owleys pet seat protector has a nice water-resistant top surface. My last cover from another brand was cloth and getting Rottie hair off it between washes was nearly impossible. This cover eliminates that problem. I’ve only used it for 2 days prior to writing this review. Time will tell.
